王建锋 博士 通用汽车中国科学研究院先进制造部门经理

Dr. Jianfeng Wang is currently the Manager of Manufacturing Process Research at General Motors China Science Lab. His group is responsible for the development and implementation of joining and forming technologies for lightweight structure materials in automobile applications. Before joining GM, he has worked for Intel Product Development and Technology (Shanghai) and Ford Motor Research & Engineering Center (Nanjing). Dr. Wang received his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Ohio State University, specializing in sheet metal forming and springback simulation.

演讲题目: Manufacturing Innovation in Automotive Applications

Dr. P. C. Wang is a Technical Fellow at GM China Science Lab, specializing in welding and joining of automotive materials. He is recognized for his research and development related to computational simulations of joining process and materials, and performances of joined structures. Dr. Wang has broad interactions with the academia and industry in the area of materials joining, and extensive experience in application of analysis and test results to solve industry problems. He is an adjunct professor of Shanghai Jiao-Tong University, Hunan University and Zhengzhou University in China. He serves on several committees of professional societies. Dr. Wang is a member of the American Welding Society. Dr. Wang has published about 50 journal papers and been granted 74 USA patents.

杨上陆博士 通用汽车中国科学研究院资深研究员

演讲题目: Laser and hybrid welding of advanced high-strength steels and high strength quenched and tempered steels

Dr. Shanglu Yang is a senior researcher at GM China Science Lab. His research focuses on joining of lightweight materials and high strength steels, hybrid welding of difficult-to-weld materials, modeling and sensing of manufacturing processes and rapid manufacturing. Dr. Yang is members of American Welding Society (AWS), Laser Institute of American (LIA), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS), and Institute of Electrical and Electronics (IEEE). He has successfully completed more than 10 projects from governmental institutes and industry including NASA, Army Research Laboratory, National Science Foundation, General Motors, Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Halliburton Energy Services, and Trinity Industries, which has been funded more than 3 million dollars.
